Agreed. All teams playing for the first time in 50 years.

Anybody goin? Daytime baseball is the best, and all opening day games will be played (or at least started - Seattle at 4:05 PDT) in daylight.

thought this was really interesting-

think I saw 1st time ever having 2 games with the cy young and runner up from prior year.

wow Mariano Rivera just threw out first pitch for Yankees and it looked like he could still get folks out.

I haven’t been following closely in the offseason (mainly due to my Blue Jays being irrelevant until the young talent arrives), but is there a clear favorite? Is it Houston? Or is it someone else, or is it wide open?

Yankees are the Vegas favorite at 5:1, followed by Astros at 6:1, BoSox at 15:2, and Dodgers at 8:1. I think the only CLEAR favorite is AL>NL.

I'm scared of the Brewers already.

saw 48 homers were hit today. 28 of those were hit off of that group of starters that was the 2nd best ever rated on prior season WAR.
