OT: So, it was time for new eyeglasses
I had to go shopping for some new glasses. I decided to flow with the trend and move away from the narrow, half-rim style that I'd been wearing for over a decade, and get a full-rim, metal tech style that has become popular. When I was about to go with the Gun Metal color I'd also been wearing for over a decade, the optician handed me another frame and said I also have it Midnight Blue. I smiled and said, "I do love Midnight Blue."

So, I'm sporting some shiny new spec's in Midnight Blue. What do you think about that?

You can now be a consultant for 90% of the refs in the MAC.

Do the lenses have a rosy tint or are they dark and shaded?

I think everyone knows I don't look through rose colored glasses. These are just plain eyeglasses. No tints or anything. (And if there was a joke there it went right over my head...05-duck)

It was a good joke. I got it. This is what fans do, rose colored one day and dark and shaded the next. Liked the one with the small letters too.

Good thread. Don't think I could make the leap. Sometimes I look at frames that would be different, imagine being daring but ultimately chicken out and get "new" frames that look almost just like the ones I've worn my entire life. Non-descript.

Good for you. They'll look good with the gold t's.
