They probably should have lost a couple more by now, but by winning all these close games they've put themselves in position to win the conference, be one of the favorites to win the conference tournament, get a nice seed in the NCAA tournament and have a chance to advance. It's been a really fun season. If Cumberland can start rolling again this team could really make some noise. They have really improved on defense as the season has gone on.
This team isn't going to be ranked in the top 10 or get a 2 seed.
I understand that... but they could still win the conference, win the conference tournament and make a deeper run in the ncaa tournament (even earning a protected seed). Not saying they will or are even likely to, but all of that is still in play because they've managed to win a ton of close games. This team probably should have 2-4 more losses. The fact that they don't has them in position to accomplish a ton.

how about just practice dunking instead of going up all weak and timid
It would be great if we could get Max to work with Brooks and Scott in the offseason.

Novel idea, if NCAA rules permit such a role for a former player on a short term basis.
Our inside guys have been impressive rebounding and defending this year; exceeding my expectations. What we're missing down low is a reserve player with some size and weight. Watching that young center for Wichita last night, he fills a lot of space and can really hold his position in the lane.
