Wyatt Rector to ‘Noles
Citing a coaching change at WMU, Rector will appeal for a hardship waiver and, if granted, he would be able to play immediately as a redshirt freshman at Florida State

Good chance at stepping into the #2 QB spot at FSU. What a sh!t show the seminoles program has become. Francois dismissed earlier this month and WMU now has a better QB situation than them?

I think he will find a nice spot on the practice squad but in a much more temperate climate.

I'm confused.

What coaching change? Rector was a Lester recruit.

What hardship? I thought those were only for Shea Patterson type situations where unknowingly goes to a program that gets sanctioned.

Maybe he’s trying to lean on the Coaching change at OC... Johns leaving and Lester taking over the coaching position. That’s pretty thin if you ask me... Was Rector recruited by Johns?

I don't like to criticize players for these types of things, but, Eleby beat him out and I think that's obvious to everyone why he transferred. To claim a coaching change is behind his transfer it is pretty suspect; the only major changes in the offense are more two TE sets and no trick WR to QB passes. Technically his co-offensive coordinator became the sole coordinator...

He was fifth on the depth chart behind Mussatt and Riddle. Was on Scout team all year.

Shea Patterson and his family knew everything about going on at ole miss. That kid playing victim so he could go get blown out in a bowl game is the most Michigan thing ever.

This. You think his brother got to keep his job at Ole Miss after the Sheavior transferred?

I wish him well. Appreciate that he gave Western a nod.

We have a lot of QB's in the stable. He may have had to wait for his opportunity.
