He has a 4-year body of work. Another handful of games isn't going to matter to scouts.
I don't know....Jeremiah Martin's career reminds me of Wally Szczerbiak. 1st 2 years nothing spectacular, but then he took off his last two years, especially his senior year during the NCAA's. If we get in the tourny, a great run by Martin will definitely help his chances.

I doubt Wally's draft had much to do with the NCAA tourney. He averaged 24 his junior and senior years. He led the NCAA season in scoring and had very good analytics. He was getting drafted no matter what.

A good tourney run sure won't hurt. But it's not the key to JM getting drafted.

When GM's contact Coach P and ask his insight on how JM skills fit into their system and his abilities at the next level, I'm ALMOST certain that after coach offers his 1cent, that insight could give a tremendous boost to JM draft potential 01-wingedeagle ...04-rock 01-ncaabbs 03-idea #LEGEND #BestPGEVER

Antonio Burks, minus the craziness. Burks was a stud when he was with us: tough, built like a tank, but very, very quick. Too bad his head wasn't screwed on straight.

This version of Martin isn't allowed to develop in a program with more talent in it.

Lot of development happens in offseason and just general hard work. No one can say for sure Martin wouldn’t have progressed to what he is now with the right coaching and the hard work he has put in. He can play on any team in the country and be very productive.

Incorrect... I have met and talked to JM and he's is exactly the same height of me at 6 3.

He'll be guarding the quickest guys in the NBA and he's not a pass-first type of player. I could see him playing well at Portsmouth or the Summer league and being able to sign a free agent contract. The difference between a second round contract and a free agent contract is fairly small.

He'll definitely play professionally somewhere next year, that's for certain.

Peso is good enough for the league. He maybe an all star in the league given the opportunity. Greg Popovich drools to get Peso in the second round. A gunslinger GM (not many of those) might just take him in the first. I hope the Grizzlies are feeling like gunslingers right now.

True! AB had more talent. What Martin has is hard working ethics. Steph Curry was not the shooter that he is now for the first few years. I think if Martin finds his confidence, he can be fairly decent shooter. Defending is what he really has to work on.

Curry averaged .412 from 3 and 25.3 points a game for his college career (.408 and 21.5 as a freshman) and shot .437 from three as a rookie. He also led his team to an Elite Eight as a sophmore.

Burks was an excellent athlete and built like a bull and CUSA player of the year in 04 (when that meant something) is but still just didn’t have the talent to stick in the league. I don’t think having his head screwed on straight had anything to do with it.

He can shoot & drive & dish. That's not a bad package. If he didn't have to play defense, he'd be a shoe in.

Honestly, I'm starting to believe. He just knows how to score. Plus, his defense has been much improved.

I think it took longer for him to recover from his foot injury than he might let on, that was a pretty major injury, and early in the season he looked like he was either thinking about it on the court, or still getting his confidence back, but he has just turned on the jets.

Everyone is being nice...

He was pouting a little bit because he felt he wasn't being featured like he felt he should have been early on. Penny alluded to this when he said that Martin felt disrespected early in the season.

The likes of Tre Young and Curry are showing that small guards can thrive if placed in the right system. Martin is showing that he can dominate as a scorer and distributor. His defense is sneaky good. I’d say his one weakness is open court ball handling. What say y’all?

Martin couldn’t play point at Memphis so he will not play point in NBA. That was his only shot. He is just not big enough to guard the SGs in the NBA. He has long arms but not enough quickness to do it in the league. Just imagine him trying to guard Tyreke, Rudy Gay, Klay Thompson or at the middle of the league you have Will Barton and Brandom Ingram. I could go on.

Rose is 6-8 with good ball handling skills.
