"...After I let my followers know my thoughts on the Smollett hoax, I received a notification that Instagram deleted my post. When I complained about this blatant censorship, Instagram claimed it was a mistake. My post had just been removed “in error,” the company said. Rather than get better, though, the situation just got worse. Conservatives soon let me know by direct message that Instagram was preventing them from following my account, or even sharing or liking any of my posts.

I’m sure Instagram will claim that this, too, was all just a terrible mistake. It’s funny how these “mistakes” never seem to happen to liberals at the critical moment of a news cycle. More to the point, if this is really a “mistake,” then why does it keep happening?

Just as the Smollett hoax is merely the latest of dozens of nonexistent hate crimes blamed on Trump supporters, my experience isn’t nearly the first time that conservatives have been censored by social media platforms.

Instagram also deleted a post from former Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany when she tried to highlight Elizabeth Warren’s lies about her ancestry. As soon as censorship of McEnany became a headline, Instagram once again claimed it was all a “mistake.” If not for conservative media, the social media giant may never be held accountable...."

It's really obvious whats actually going on. This is individual people at twitter/facebook/instagram/etc who see something they dont like and delete it, hide it, block it from feeds.
Then once its brought to the attention of support they cover for their employee and say it was a mistake.
The person doesn't get fired because everyone working there agrees with them, so they just sweep it under the rug.

It's not a mistake, its not an error. This is direction action by people within the company and they just claim its an error if and only if it's someone important enough to make waves.

You have a ton of authoritarian people that have zero impact on the world except for their little slice of power in these companies... and they take that power and abuse it. It's frightening to think what these people would do if they ever got real power.

With great power comes great responsibility. These people can't even be responsible with a super tiny bit of power.

I’m curious now that twitter has let the cat out of the bag that journalists are the only thing keeping it alive, if Trump could single-handedly bring them down if he closed his account and opened a Minds or Gab account. The journalists would be forced to follow, and twitter’s ragebait ponzi scheme would quickly collapse.

Nah... Journalists would keep on spewing things on twitter. They wouldnt be able to reply directly tp Trump. So they would just screencap Trumps Gab posts and then post it on twitter along then their comments.

It just irks them so much that they just have to do it. They're like me with tv personalities and some political personalities who slam everything that is conservative, they censor it. I censor them by changing the channel but the equivalency is not there. While I censor them no one know I did it when they do the whole nation knows they're doing it. It's propaganda of the highest nature keeping the opposition from voicing its opinion or fact. This is how to keep those stupid Leftists from knowing the truth even though many like me will do their own censoring.

Honestly, I'm glad that this site has not gone the same route as it's the only medium who presents the truth and from the other side those who try to do the Leftist propaganda. Too bad we have so many smart conservatives to set THEM straight with facts.
