This line actually came up in a film class I took - Fright NIght

Damn. I took a bunch of film/art electives. We didn't do fright night though. The classes for film also ruined some movies for me lol doubt many sausage makers are big on hot dogs I guess.

Absolutely. I took a class called the Art of listening. The professor's assistant came in at the beginning of class, put in a cd and we listened to an album. No discussion, just listening.

All the athletes took that class of course. Looking back, another finance or engineering class would have befitted me much more.

Same here. Remember studying the French film expression of "mise-en-scene" lol.

I quit my "Music Appreciation" course within the time period allowed penalty-free and exchanged it for Film.

My Aikido semester is really benefiting me in the business world, although it was a really cool course because we sparred in Karati gis and the instructor was a UFC judge and runs his own MMA school, lol, but I had to pay for "Physical Activity" credit hours, lol.

Ahhh, good ol' phys-ed classes. That's something you young whipper-snappers know nothing about. I don't know when they (colleges and Universities) stopped requiring them for an undergrad degree, but when I attended Memphis State from 1985-1988, I took Scuba Diving and Weight Lifting. We all thought they were jerk-off classes until we got our study guides for the final exam... WTF???? We've got to memorize and label every major muscle group in the human body? What am I? Pre-med?
