Kent State @ Buffalo
The Flashes get another shot at the 25th ranked team in the nation on Friday at Alumni Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2, which should make for a nice little Friday night for Kent State fans. Buffalo is talented, Buffalo is tough.
The good news for KSU is that a home date with Ohio University awaits next Tuesday. But, this is college basketball and Kent State may have the most talented player on the court Friday....so lets play the darn thing and Beat UB!

Regardless of the outcome of this one, Flash fans should keep an eye on the following games this weekend:

NIU @ (8-5) Toledo. I would be willing to post a video of myself doing the happy dance if the Huskies can knock off UT.

(7-6) Central Michigan @ Ball State. CMU is a different team on the road. Go Cardinals!

(6-7) Miami @ (6-7) Akron. Either way I guess. Go Redhawks!

Western Michigan @ (6-7) Eastern Michigan. I don't know. I think Eastern Michigan is terrible so I figure WMU has a shot. But watch, EMU will be even with Kent State by this time next week. Go Broncos!

burden,
stay away from this one. too tempting!

Hey guys best of luck tomorrow night.

What’s the deal with Avery? I’ve always really enjoyed watching him play.

Yea I don’t like games like this either. Weird things tend to happen.

Our ability to catch the ball closely resembles a kitten with a ball of yarn so far.

What a disgusting last 2 minutes. If we lose we lost the game in those two minutes.

Particularly disgusting considering the defensive effort for 18 minutes.

To make matters worse Ohio just took BG into overtime. That game can go either way right now.

Ohio wins. But the truth is, Buffalo is on a different level. Toledo and BG May challenge them but that’s about it. I would like a night at Flannerys, though.

Avery and Walker are clearly running out of gas at the end of the season ... really a testament to the program to have 19 wins.

Oh, what could have been (ADR and Pippen).

Sad.

Williamson and Peterson MUST find a way to combine for 20 points a game. They do everything else OK.

Four games in nine days ... three on the road. OUCH!

I didn't waste time on another Friday night ESPN road game blowout - just lucky that UB was as terrible from 3 as we were. Basically UB has has too much athleticism for us, I'll be there Tuesday the fourth spot is still anybodies - but that spot is in UBs side of the bracket. We really can't afford too many more losses as a win at BG seems like a stretch

Avery has been injured. Not really fair to say he's running out of gas. Williamson and Peterson combining for 20 ppg is a pipe dream. I still believe we are going to finish top 4 and get a bye. There are so many positives in my mind that I refuse to focus on "what could have been". Roberts is going to be a really good player. Williams showed tonight when he is aggressive, he is tough to stop. Whittington, outside of Jimmy Hall, is our best back to the basket scorer in a long time. This team can still make some noise. We just need to hope someone else will knock off UB.

RE: Kent State @ Buffalo
I think the Flashes have had a nice season so far and obviously these next two weeks are huge and as a fan, I am excited. But the way this offense “operates”, at times, it’s hard to argue that this is Coach Senderoff’s best coaching job. I could be wrong here but can anyone think of a game where Jaylin Walker impacted the outcome by driving and dishing?
