Trying to be one of the 36,000 in attendance at the Carrier Dome for Duke vs Cuse.

Average price of the ticket on resale: $180+
You want to sit close to the floor expect to pay several thousand dollars.

Some one is asking nearly $8500 a ticket at the Dome. Insane

Duke games at Cameron are always a pricey ticket due to the small capacity.

Must be late February. As per usual: (1) the biggest annual cultural event in the greater Syracuse Metro region is here, Duke's visit to the un-air conditioned Dome for a basketball game. And (2) Syracuse basketball is fairly close to the NCAA bubble.

I can hear Jim Boeheim politicking already.

1a) One day event yes...but the 12 day NY State Fair is a bigger event
1b) Don't ever remember the A/C being missed in February
2) Agreed...it is what we do since probation
Boeheim is usually spot on. Final Fours and Sweet 16 teams off bubble teams is a pretty good track record.

That's funny. Among old-time Syracuse fans (like my parents, who went to Le Moyne in the 70s), Boeheim is known as a choke artist. I can't tell you how many times since 1990 I've heard my Dad say that any other coach of a team with Syracuse's talent would have had a lot more tournament success and won multiple national titles.

We should have won in 87 and 89. Those teams were so deep
