Exactly what I have been saying for a long time. Even if someone did a fictional movie or series that mirrored what has happened, people would say hey this is entertaining but it would never happen in real life. But it has happened.

OK, WTF is the reason why republicans were asleep at the switch on this for two years. If these bureaucrats were republicans plotting this sort of thing against a democrat president, I have to believe tht the likes of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi (and Harry Reid in his day) would have gone scorched earth against them from day one. But that didn't happen. Republican congressional leaders are a bunch of milquetoast wusses. I'm not a Donald Trump fan, but I wish some of his cojones could somehow have osmosed into the likes of Mitch McConnell Paul Ryan and whoever the new house minority leader is (who is so innocuous I don't even know his/her name).
