Basketball ventured to splitsville Ohio. Yawn, losing interest.

A high school game at the convo had 4,000 actual people at it. It took a dynamic player, Basketball remains a players game, to get players you need a Great Recruiter to find those diamonds in the rough. Hope we can find one soon.

Softball good, Womens Lacrosse bad idea, makes me "mildly concerned" about or athletic administration.

Baseball got swept and then tied on the way out of where ever playing NJITTtech not a good start but we are a one bid league in this non-revenue sport as well.
Football team had some tug of wars on tires lifted heavy things and put them down and is still undefeated in the off season.

Here's another musing. Will the convo ever be set up with better cell phone service? It was kinda funny and refreshing seeing a bunch of HS kids being tortured for a few hours without use of their phones at the HS game last Friday. However, it is rather annoying that the convo seating area is essentially "off the grid".

Remember a while back that UofD hired a coach just to basically get the coaches son? They've returned to this trend but this player might be better than the last. But, they made a splash hire and it is paying off.

I wouldnt quite say its paying off. They are 10-17 with a below .500 record in their conference.

Difference is Antoine Davis was a 3 star. Emoni Bates is going to be a 5 star

But Davis was/is a successful D-I coach including at the highest level (Indiana).

Emoni's father doesn't have that resume.
