This team is really, really banged up. Lots of pitchers and position players out. Now you can evidently add Pete Schuler to the list who didn’t play all weekend. He was having a great season.
Luke Albright has been really, really impressive on the mound and a couple of the younger hitters are progressing.
Absolutely correct JimJoyce. The athletic training staff has been extra busy this year with the baseball team.
KSU is no 15-18 overall, 5-5 in the conference.
They have Pitt at home this Tuesday and then go to beautiful DeKalb IL for the weekend series with NIU. Then they have Canisius College at home on Tuesday and go to Athens OH for the weekend series with Ohio U. The following week they have University of Dayton at home on Tuesday and then Toledo at home for the weekend series. The next week they have the weekend series at BG, with no mid-week games. The last weekend of the season they have Wright State at home and then go to EMU for the weekend series. 15 conference games and 4 non-conference games left.
Only NIU has a winning conference record of the remaining conference games.
