What the basic college sports fan does not realize is that football is probably not even top 5 of the sports where the SEC has strength from top to bottom. Off the top of my head, Baseball, Softball, Men's Tennis, Gymnastics, and Track and Field are more dominant from top to bottom year in and year out. SEC Baseball is absolutely ridiculous. It is so pronounced in most sports that Vandy rarely competes with us (Lipscomb) in anything, even just as a scrimmage or exhibition, because they blow off our doors.
