Judges are now running EMU's athletic department. Apparently it's federal law that schools can't have lacrosse teams instead of softball. Maybe we can start forcing fans to attend their games by court order, too.

Well SOMEONE besides the exsisting AD & staff needs to run EMU athletics.

Since atleast one member of the softball team is a party to the Title IX lawsuit against emu, there is no reason for a judge allow a lacrosse switch.
Just another example of EMU trying to play dirty.

It seems this Judge is exceeding his authority. He has the power to rule EMU in violation of a Federal Mandate, he doesn't have the power to determine how they become compliant again.

So far the judge has only reinstated two sports programs that were illegally eliminated.
Now EMU needs to determine how to achieve Title IX compliance while balancing the athletic budget. Tough chore with significantly more female students than men.
