Feinstein has always been kind to the CAA over the years and it's no different in this article from last weekend. In case you didn't notice, Wright-Foreman had 48 points or so the other day and Nathan Knight had a huge game himself in the same game with 39 and 14. Those two are among several CAA guys with the chance to play at the next level.

On ESPN, Bilas (who we all hate) did his list of 1-68 teams with Hofstra at 58 and gave JWF kind words as well.

bilas has never done the caa any favors.

when VCU with Eric Maynor beat Duke, said it was a fluke and duke wins 99 out of 100 times

said, mason should not have gotten an at large, and they go on to the final 4. even after making the final 4, even said they should not have been there.

I'll not forget the $100 dinner he mc'd for JMU where he talked down about CAA basketball. How in the CAA our only dream is just to make the NCAA tourney. After that the CAA hit the final four twice.

dukester, I think we were at the same table for that one. he was awful. kept saying "basketball at this level", he was so derisive, like the caa was comm college basketball. I didnt like him before the event, but came across as such a smug jacka$$ at the event

Funny thing is he has always been pompous and being a Duke guy slanted. The past few years his tune has completely changed. He is still unbearable and pompous, but he actually does seem to back mids now when in the past he never has. With that said, he is still awful. But I thought that piece was nice from him giving a nice shout out to JWF. The Washington POot piece was very good.

In a battle of arrogance, it's a dead heat between Bilas and Brian Billick.

I was at that dinner with Bilas. I remember telling him that he should try to use more humor on air and he has loosened up a bit since then. He told the crowd that his wife was a JMU grad. Believe it or not, he's pretty good friends with Dean Keener.
