Tulane had to dig out of a 3 run hole to win game 2. They play for a sweep tomorrow.

UC had a 6-2 lead in the 6th, but gave up 5 in the bottom of the inning (including a grand slam). They tied it up at 7 only to lose in 11 innings 8-7.

UH won on another walk off. SP is going to keep us from postseason play but the bats should win us a few games at least.

Giving up 4 and 3 runs is not bad. Against Northwestern State maybe it’s not great, but then again neither is only scoring 5.

When Cliff Godwin first got to ECU he used to say we need to keep the other team from scoring 5 runs and we will win the vast majority of the time. Not because ECU was an offensive juggernaut, but just because 5 runs is about where you’re going to end up a lot of the time.

So we're good enough to win 2 games at a Regional?

I don't follow baseball enough in off-season to know what to expect. My expectations aren't high, probably about what I jokingly said above. Two wins and out at a Regional.

A Super Regional would be great. Been waiting for a CWS berth for a looong time. Been so close so many times...
