Blade Won't Print Monday/Tuesday Editions
Digital paper only on M/Tu means no links to sports stories.

RE: Blade Won't Print Monday/Tuesday Editions
Two days I won't be woken at 4:30am by that car driving from door to door. What ever happened to CARRYING the newspapers? grrr.

Over the years, I do notice the driver making fewer stops. Hardly I imagine a well paying gig. The realities of the business as the article states, as well the resource waste. What jobs will remain for the unskilled working class, in a few decades? Scary for people. I imagine Block ponders that daily.

Won't there still be online stories? If not the Blade is essentially giving up coverage of all weekend sports including the NFL

There will still be articles online on Mondays and Tuesdays, so links to articles can still be posted on the message board.

I believe this means 2 less days of Ohio State, Michigan and BGSU coverage. UT will continue to get a couple stories a week.

I was shocked Sunday after the UT-BG game (THE GAME) that the main story in the Sports section was about the new OSU head football coach.

Same here. I was thinking exactly that, what a slap on the face to both schools.

I retired a couple years ago. I keep myself busy during good weather as much as I can. I cut and split my own firewood, do all my own yard work.
But I wanted more so I took a once a week newspaper walking route. I drive to town and then walk the route and go home. It takes Just over two hours. But that doesn’t count the time to go get the papers bring them home . Roll them up and put them in plastic bags. I get 10 cents a paper. I get $70 per month. You won’t get rich delivering papers.
