This kid isn't representing his school very well...
Kid was a top ranked recruit for Nebraska and had a decent freshman season. So why would he do something so stupid? If you don't want to read the story, the tldr is: Kid dates girl when he/she was 15, girl ended up in a threeway with two other dudes (she claims she was raped) that was video taped and sent to a bunch of people at their high school, girl reaches out 3-4 years after incident to congratulate Maurice on the scholarship and Maurice responds by sending her the video of her threeway (rape?) back when she was 15.
