If there is any position at NIU to not change the style of recruits, that would be the position. Stay with what has been working forever here.

I agree based on the junior year highlight tapes. Although I’m sure a lot has to do with their performances at the big dog camps they recently attended.

Based off what? They are still recruiting guys with good academics. Recruiting taller lineman. Not sure why you think this? As long as they can play.

As the New Jersey pipeline grows in volume offers, 2 new additions have appeared. Myles Bailey RB 6'0" 180 lbs 3* .8326 rating from 247 sports. His interest level in NIU is "warm". I think we have a good shot at him. Eric Rodgers WR 6'2" 165 lbs. Identical rating of 3* .8326.

The start of a New Jersey pipeline is intriguing. My daughter attended James Madison University where there is an established New Jersey pipeline. What I learned is New Jersey doesn't have alot of big school options outside of Rutgers. This new connection with New Jersey could be a start of long-term connections.

Penn State, Ohio State, and UMiami have always had strong recruiting ties in NJ.

Interesting note: Rogers lists himself as a DB in his Twitter bio but is listed as a WR in the 247 database. It does appear that NIU is interested in/offered him as a WR.

This is great! Things could get really good for our Huskies if we recruit as good as we develop players.

RE: 2020 Official Recruiting Thread
Anyone have information on what recruits are on campus this weekend? Coach Hammock a couple of weeks ago indicated that there would be some prime candidates coming to town once the recruiting dead period ended.

RE: 2020 Official Recruiting Thread
I have no information, just speculation, on future attendees at our next on campus group this weekend. OL ,DL ,S, QB, look full. We will pick up our DBs from Georgia and Florida as these states commit fairly late. I do think that our coaches will push hard to convert the 5 offers to the N.J. kids into true commits. They can fill area of needs. In order of possibilities; RB Myles Bailey 3* interest in NIU "warm",and TE Dominick Busby 3*, The TE coach at NIU is the NJ connection. Also in the mix is WR Eric Rodgers 3*, and ATH 3* Te Rai Powell. Finally, Terrance Spence is a possibility at DB. I think [and hope] they can get some of them to come as a group.
Other guys from Illinois, Fla, and Georgia [a new area?] will be there. I think Wisconsin is Full. Powell just commited to Rutgers.

Stevens had an unofficial visit last weekend. Looks like he already had a Turdledo and EMU offer
