"It's only a theory" still doesn't say much of anything, in and of itself. Gravity and Quantum Mechanics are only theories but have been tested and found to be accurate in every way so far. There may be tweaks needed at some point but the ability to predict the results of various experiments is really strong evidence.

Not nick picking but Gravity and Quantum Mechanics only work in there respective areas. Gravity doesn't work on the molecular level and Quantum Mechanics don't work on a Universal scale. So then we have Sting theory to fix it all! but it doesn't.
