She's under fire because her "Green New Deal" is horseshit.
It will turn the US into Bedrock faster than Fred Flintstone can yell "Yabba Dabba Doooo!"

This is a guest column written by Rev. Jesse Jackson. Hardly what I would call news.

70% support medicaid 4 all only when it's presented just as "universal health care", with zero details as to how they will arrive to it. When you explain the democrats' plan (raising taxes and banning private insurance), it drops to 13% approval.
Citing those push polls is only digging the dems deeper in a hole. You're getting the far/alt-left's hopes up, and when you inevitably fail to deliver (because it's overwhelmingly not what voters want), they are going to go crazy.

Basically, every other country do have Medicaid 4 All. Several of them are not going broke when they used it more as an investment taxes that will keep people healthy and employable. This country alone, many people missed school and work because they can't afford health care. The number of people in countries like Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and others are at the top of the list ahead of us with healthy people who hardly missed a day of work and school.

Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway have much lower and more homogeneous populations than we do. They also live healthier lifestyles in the first place, so correlation doesn't equal causation. You cut a rural clinic's reimbursement rates by 40% (the percentage you'd have to cut them to make medicaid 4 all work), and you put them out of business.
At the end of the day, 13% of the country agrees with you. It ain't happening, bud. I'd suggest ditching this plan, and working on strengthening/improving the current system.

Medicare for all means Medicare for none. Tell the older folks, that vote, that their Medicare is going away. Good luck with that.
Tuition free college, or debt free college? What does that even mean?
Why not just call it “free college” and see how that stands up. You think those that scrimped, saved, made hard choices, worked extra hours or two jobs to put their kid through college are now gonna roll over and pay more tuition for a lifetime?
Then watch as that same kid is now paying for some other kids tuition for the next 60 yrs?
You think college is expensive now, just wait til it’s free...
You socialists are plain nuts. /shakes head

RE: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is under fire because she’s right
Look if there could be a good plan for health care coverage for all that could be funded easily I’d be for it. But the system isn’t equal and no one can figure out how to pay for the free sh*t. Until our government can figure out how to not overspend and save money we shouldn’t be worrying about giving people free shi+.

And who will oppose free college for all? The rich Uber liberals of course. Tell Harvard they are gonna be free. The answer will be a quick not no but hell no!
Free ain’t what they claim it is. And equal never will be equal. The elite will always have better education and better healthcare. The only country in the world at this point where ANYONE can become one of the elite is here in America. The socialist want to be the elite by party affiliation. Just look at AOC. She’s wearing clothes and enjoying perks she never realized as a person making herself valuable as an employee or in the real marketplace. In other words, an empty pants suit.
