Most definitely - Wolfe has to have them excited. He should be a stud. Hopefully the next Heinicke! Second coming!

Just let him be Wolfe. We don't need to be hoisting Heinicke's legacy on every freshman QB.

Yeah for real. We've all seen how thats worked out before.

A lot of fans on here anoint the second coming of greatness with our freshman QBs without ever seeing them in a college practice or spring game. Clearly over the last 5 years during the spring game, you could tell SB and SW were not the second coming of the greatness or really worthy of starting at QB so early.

What little I have seen from walkon Fitzgerald has been more impressing than what I saw in SB and SW as a freshman.

I disagree. I didn't see practices, but there were people raving about Williams in his freshman year (and he played fairly well for a 17 year old freshman). For whatever reason, Williams just didn't have it last year, his accuracy went in the tank. (wishfully thinking it was due to shoulder injury)

I have heard good things about Fitzgerald as well. They have not been equal to the hype I heard about Williams though.

3-star CB Antonio Webb tweeted tonight that he is committing soon. Looks like ODU is the likely choice. Maybe he will commit at the Spring Game tomorrow.

Nope. In the 2019 class, Javon Harvey decommitted from ODU last September and then signed with ODU in February.

Every now and then he oozes some of that Saban philosophy.

It should be interesting to see how they manage to open all these scholarships they're offering.

Every school in the country offers more scholarships than they have open spots. In every sport. You have to. It is called covering all your bases. Not every kid you offer is going to come to ODU. So you make more offers.
