Easy to see why he didn't make the NFL.
Lost interest before the season started when i saw who it would be. Turrible. Wtf were they thinking. Hack wouldnt start for the Tigers

He is awful

our head coach was underwhelming to me..

1. The pace of the game is the best thing happening, these games are clocking around 2:30 or less; the NFL needs to consider implementing this as soon as they can to speed up the game like a shorter play clock. I know the major networks showing NFL games depends on tv timeouts for advertisers so they will have to have some unlike no tv timeouts for the AAF but there has to be a way to reduce those timeouts. Too much standing around

2. Viewers get to see and hear the instant replay process as it’s happening and the official doesn’t drag their feet in making a decision; although the guy in the Memphis vs Birmingham game blew the catch call

3. It hasn’t happened yet but during the regular season each team gets possession of the football in OT to score with a TD. It can still result with a tie game if both teams score or don’t score but at least it gives both sides a chance. Wished that KC had a chance against NE in the OT playoff. Now it’s good that it’s not like college where you can have 8 OTs and endless OTs but I would like the NFL to adopt something similar with maybe like a limit of 2-4 OTs and if neither team canbscore or they do score then it’s a tie

Disagree about length of games----people pay good money to be entertained----I don't like football games lasting the same amount of time as movies---3 hour plus games are fine to me.

I hate MEMPHIS has to settle for what amounts to as NFL farm team---after trying years to get a real team---I hope I am wrong but I don't think it will fly in MEMPHIS.

I don't look at it as a farm team. Sure, everybody on the team is hoping to move up to the NFL, but this business model has its place in cities that probably can't spare the millions and millions to support an NFL team. It will be a downer to the fans though for players to develop into studs and give the team hope, then go to the NFL for the next season.

The Express is going to need a much more competent showing in the next few games or a lot of people won't bother.

the time of year isnt helpful either.
They expect people to pile into a cold Liberty Bowl?

yeah, should have started the last week in Feb.

To be fair, our schedule is back loaded with home games.

I’ll just say this, hope to see y’all there this weekend. Supporting this team is going to pay off in the long run.

you'll see me there

This league feels a lot different than many of the more recent minor leagues. Plus we're on the NFL Network Saturday night.

We're planning on being there. A good crowd is important to show that Memphis can support a pro sports franchise. Below are attendance numbers for last weekend.

San Antonio (27,857)
Orlando (20,191)
Birmingham (17,039)
Arizona (15,000)

I don't see us beating San Antonio attendance, but good weather could bring some more people out. We need to beat Arizona and Birmingham (at least). Last week's performance won't help anything, though.

I feel like this league will be better run than the past leagues to come through here.

This one doesn't seem quite as cheezy though, not so much a "forced spectacle". Plus it didn't come in asking for a lot of money from the city, did it?

It seems pretty obvious to me that this league has staying power.

Lot of ties with the NFL.

I think Vince and his 'Stand-by-Trump' XFL redux is dead in the water.

They got the name wrong though. "Alliance" of American Football is, shall we say, ghey.
