DAYTONA 500
Byron and his team turned a horrific day into just a bad day.
They were caught up in a crash on only lap 15 that took out 16 cars and almost flipped him over. His team fixed the car enough that it would turn laps. He managed to finish 26th.

On the other hand, my other favorite driver, Michael McDowell, an outspoken and great Christian brother, took the checkered flag for his first career win!

I am still trying to come down from my adrenalin rush and can’t sleep.

DAYTONA ROAD COURSE
Another GARBAGE day for William Byron. The highlight was finishing 7th at the end of the second segment. He finishes 33rd. It was ugly!

HOMESTEAD, FL
DIXIE VODKA 400

Sweet Willy B. Speed had a dominating win today in Miami. He started 31st and worked his way up to 4th at the completion of the first stage. He won the second stage. He drove away from the field in the final stage for the win. With the win, he is already locked into the playoffs at the end of the NASCAR season.
