I have a weird feeling that USF and UCF will be joining the Big 12 East with ISU, KSU, KU & WV. UCF's incredible run of success in football (with 2 NY6 bowls plus a BCS bowl) and USF's history with having been in a conference with WVU and the ability of both to open up Florida recruiting to the entire conference just making too much sense adds to the crickets coming from the AAC espn negotiations right now lead me to this idea. Somethings rotten in Denmark

Makes just as much sense as the other ridiculous thread. The Big 12 isn't expanding (they were just paid a ton by ESPN to specifically NOT expand) until/unless Texas and Oklahoma are gone. And then, it will probably end up playing out like the Big East's demise did - the remainder of the Big 12 will probably exist in some way, but it will lose its P5 status and emerge as the strongest of the new "G6."

Funny thing is that this scenario, although highly unlikely, is still more believable than Houston and Cincinnati.

If and when the Big 12 is raided UCF, USF, Houston, and Cinccinnati make the most sense as a replacement plan.

My point is not to dig on Rutgers, but to point out that in this era there are a lot of strange conference mates.

Bowlsby has not added any school since he was hired as B12 Commish in May, 2012. Why start now? It's a lot of work.
