With the huge signing of RB Micah Kelly today, it made me realize we don't have a RBs coach. Former RB coach Kerry Dixon left Toledo to join the Georgia Tech program and I haven't seen any announcement on a new coach.
Seems strange to not have one hired before signing day, no?

You've got Hallett as Run Game/OL Coordinator and a former All American RB with
NFL experience in Javon Ringer on staff, do you really need one?

NFL experience in Javon Ringer on staff, do you really need one?

Good point. I just figured Toledo would replace that position since they have used a RB coach every other year. Maybe Ringer gets promoted?

Maybe we can hire an additional defensive coach then. We can't have too many.

Didn't UT add Larry Black as DL coach? Wasn't that the position group coached by Brian George as well as being DC? So didn't UT technically add a defensive coach?

Someone I know connected to Iowa State Football Team said that former Rocket Coach Brian Gasser is out at ISU. Apparently when Manning came back from The NFL that Coach Gasser was the odd man out. Come on back to Toledo Coach Gasser where you belong.

That was widely reported. I think I also mentioned it. It was sudden, the very day Manning came in. I wondered at the time if there was a falling out. Your connection have anything about that possibility?

ISU really wants to focus on being a run first team.

Only thing I heard about Gasser leaving was due to Manning coming back. I hope that Coach Gasser finds a landing spot soon too.
