RE: 2019 Signing Day
2019 class includes...

One 4-Star player
Nine 3-Star players
Seven 2-Star players
Via ASOR: https://twitter.com/ASeaofRed/status/109...0463001606

The talent level is definitely rising. I think LU continues to trend upward with a better 2020 class. The future is bright.

RE: 2019 Signing Day
I think we did alright. I am pretty happy with the “star” factor.
I hope these are all young men who fit the Liberty culture.
I look forward to someday being inside the top 75 schools in recruiting rather than being down in the cellar.

247 ranked us 134th and I don't think that is acceptable going forward. There are 130 FBS schools and we are in one of the better recruiting locations. I liked that Freeze made a lot of good signings in his short time here and he has a reputation of being a strong recruiter so I expect it to get better going forward. If we could be around 100 next year and move up by 10 or so until we get to the top of the G5/lower P5 then we'll be in great shape but I expect Freeze to be gone way before then.

Side note, but they don't rank Tayvion Land as a 4-star. It's great that some publications rank him there but I think it is a little disingenuous to call him a 4-star when most do not.

RE: 2019 Signing Day
ESPN and Rivals have Sands as a 4 star. Only 247 has him as a 3 star and they bumped him down once he decommitted from Maryland.

If you want to add players 2 star ratings from other sites other than 247 ala ESPN/Rivals

Lloyed- 2 star
Douglas- 2 star
Sibley- 2 star
Megginson- 2 Star
Strickler- 2 Star
Williams - 2 Star

We would probably be in the 110-115 range.

He is a 4* but he isn’t a consensus 4*. It’s worth noting that 80 is what espn has him at which is their lowest 4* rating. What matters, according to all of the recruiting services, is he is the highest rated commit we’ve ever had.
