He shoots threes .295.

Cylla missed his first 11 3pt attempts of the season. So since then he has shot .338. That looks somewhat better anyway.

IMO, they figured out how to attack our defense better than any CAA team this year. They also have the interior size and defense to shut down Cacok. This is a really tough matchup for us on both sides.

Cacok had 12-12 on 50% shooting. They didn't exactly "shut him down", it certainly wasn't 20/20. But a decent day at the office

Not saying they shut him down, but they do have the interior size to do so.

Correct, Eric Carter is really underrated in the CAA. Cacok and Knight get the most praise, and deservedly so. But Carter is a great big man.

As long as he does his work close to the hole,I’m good to go with him as long as it’s a good shot. We just need to collectively move the ball and get good shots and good drives that’s it. That will help out the defense a lot too.

Moving the ball, and not carelessly I might add, is definitely the key for us on offense. I’ve always thought when our guys start dribbling around too much and trying to take their man one on one is when our offense stagnates. Toews is the only guy on the team I trust to dribble more, and that’s because he’s such an efficient passer.

Carter is good, but for anyone to say he’s better than Cacok is laughable.

Yup Archie hired him right away for his defensive knowledge and his connections for recruiting. Brusier took one year off and traveled all over the country watching other coaches run practice and then was brought on at IU. I believe he was long time friends with the Miller family through the Calipari tree.
