+1 Antwain Walker will be really good...he got picked on but that was an NFL combo in the MACC he was up against. He was right there on most of those plays.

2019 Spring Roster is Up
You better believe he didn't forget that and will use it as motivation in the off season.

And a late commit is a K/P from Florida.

The team health was good last year so you might consider that Carey's plan to keep the best players playing worked out. Plus I don't remember any player getting a serious injury in the "spring" game.

Did they have an actual spring game last year? I had the impression they really didn't. And I agree that I don't remember any serious injuries in the spring game so I wondered why Carey stopped having it.
No it was a practice last year but a few years back some guys lost a whole season due to injury. Perhaps guys were trying to prove themselves too much.
Practice you can see QB arm strength, size, timing (kind of), accuracy and sometimes confidence level.
It came as no surprise that Childers was the #1 QB for 2018 after watching practices.

Andrew Gantz is done. Am I missing someone, or is Northern going to put Richardson up front? I thought that's why Gantz was brought in. Correct me if getting another K is not some kind of priority. Or can Ference and Richardson back up each other?
I’m honestly not sure what this is asking? Gantz graduated. Usually, teams only have one kicker and punter.
Richardson’s kickoffs in Boca weren’t exactly inspiring.
I saw Ference and Richardson listed and just wondered if there is/need another. I thought that's why Gantz was brought in. Not exactly a genius when it comes to the current team makeup. Thanks.
THammock taking care of business! Looks like NIU signed Jace Hohenthaner, p/k, 6-3, 175, Lakeland, Fla.
