The inconsistency is maddening overall for the team, but man is it fun to watch Chase play basketball and attack the rim with authority.

Love watching him grow. He is special. Agree with wanting to play more up tempo, not sure we have the PG for that though right now.

Let’s go get Hofstra! We can do this.

I actually think that’s why you push it in transition, because of lack of PG to run our half court sets. Justin, LJ, Chase can push ball on break just fine. Our 2 PGs combined for exactly 0 assists last night. Add in Matt, and you’ve got exactly 0 assists in 82 minutes between 3 guys...mostly out of half court sets. That simply can’t happen! We have 3 or 4 guys that can finish at the rim on the break. Let them run!

RE: Game 24 the Huskies.
We do try to play up tempo. If you want to see coaches who don’t, look at Earl Grant and Tony Bennett.

The turnovers are maddening. I actually tracked them last night rather than individual scoring stats, as I usually do. My first TO (and it may not actually count as one) was that shot clock violation that wiped out a made three by Milton (!).

We turn it over early in the shot clock and late in it. We turn it over in transition and in half-court sets.

One theme is that the closer the game the more likely we are to turn it over - and the less likely we are to hit a three.

Perhaps they will draw a little better at the tourney when it moves to DC.

They didn't draw when they won the tournament in Baltimore, I would expect DC will be no different. I don't understand how Coen is still there. I would have thought he'd have plenty of suitors at bigger schools.

That's what our opponents have said about Shaver for years.

Boston is cold and is mostly populated by Boston people. Defense rests.

RE: Game 24 the Huskies.
Williamsburg is boring, mostly populated by old people and unless you graduated college as a Smith Major, there arent any real jobs. Good luck convincing someone <50 to move there that didnt just graduate.

Boston is better for most young people. For familes, maybe not the city center, not South Boston, but yes, the outskirts and even Cambridge area etc are fantastic.

That being said, I will probably retire in Williamsburg.

I'm not comparing Williamsburg and Boston. They're apples and oranges. If you are looking for the positives of Boston, you can get all of that in much better places. Williamsburg holds up against areas similar to it.

Washington will be different - you can fly, take the train, bus or drive - more centrally located for everyone.

I’m not real old (over50), but love Boston. One of my favorite cities in the world. Williamsburg is in my top ten too. DC is my favorite.

Are you comparing Washington to Baltimore like the rest of us or Washington to Charleston?
