That kind of severance package has become the American Way of doing business. When the Wells-Fargo CEO had to quit due to various internal scandals his policies fostered, he left them taking his parting gift of $123 million. He won't go hungry either.

To have been through the s#it on both sides like Briles has, if you've got 15 mil, why don't you just go enjoy whatever is left, and keep your name out of the press ?

Maybe he doesn't want to spend time with the ol' lady.

Briles thinks he is the victim so in his mind getting on the path to being a major college head coach again is him getting the justice he feels he deserves.

Of course him feeling that way is probably exhibit B as to why he should never be allowed on a college campus again. Exhibit A being the whole actively covering up dozens of rapes and allowing other rapes to happen because putting a stop to it might have hurt recruiting and cost him football games.

Didn't Les Koennig go to Southern Miss after UAB? Why wouldn't he be an option for them?

I haven't kept up with other teams in forever but what happened to their last OC? Was he fired?

Les Koennig joined Les Miles in his attempt to set offensive football back 30 years at Kansas.

USM lost their OC to Houston where he joined Holgorsen's new staff.

Les is working with Les Miles over in Kansas. Which is a bummer, because I really like Les Miles. I was on Reddit and told a Kansas fan to get ready for about 25 delayed RB draws per game and the most vanilla route trees you ever did see.

Evidently that guy had committed to play at Brigham Young. I can only imagine how much trouble he would have caused if he'd went there.
