What happened? I saw German tied it up with 4 seconds left and then BSU was shooting free throws with 2 seconds left????

By "saw" I mean I was watching the live stats, don't know the circumstances of the foul.

LJ with one of the dumbest plays I have seen in awhile. How do you not know the score?

James intentionally fouled their best shooter with 1.9 seconds left. He obviously lost track of the score and thought we were behind, when it was tied.

I feel bad for him...that was pretty bad....Eugene looked at him like ...WTF!!

I don't even know how to be mad about this loss.

Going in, I was petrified of Ball State and pretty much everything I feared came to life. But NIU tied it and should have taken it to OT, but.......

I don’t want to pile on Lacey, but I don’t get how that happens. How do you not know the score?

I feel awful for James, he played a very good 2nd half. But man...can't say anything except that's just a dumb dumb play. Having no timeouts the last minute killed us.

NIU didn't deserve to win that game anyways.

Man, this season is turning into trash. I guess it's what I expected at the beginning, but the Buffalo win got us so excited.

Most likely he thought Thompson's 2nd free throw went in (at least in his internal counter), it all happened pretty quick. But I assume the coaching staff and bench are yelling 'foul' or "D-up" or something similar in those situations, so not sure how that didn't happen or wasn't heard.

But it's just a perfect example of this program.

James made an honest error. Had they saved a time out they could have called it right after the score. Also, his 3 pointer kept them in it. I think the officiating was bad and we let two of their players run up huge points.

Also, I hate to say it and maybe I’m just mad at the loss, but if you want butts in the seats then we need a product that wins. A hair above 500 ain’t doing it.

This game is not on James, his overall play was good. NIU needs to have urgency earlier

Finishing 9-9 will be a struggle. 3 home games left and one of those is against BGSU.

So when it’s all said and done NIU may end up as a 9, 10, 11 or 12 seed
