BS call. Should have been a no call. And I still think Perry's shot to beat Troy was good. Refs have been instrumental in two home losses this year.

I didn't see a foul on the floor and certainly not during the shot

The guy with the ball was bumped. Needed the ref calling the Saints-Rams game.

Just can’t foul in that situation.

It was a bump. Definitely on the floor, but a foul. I've seen refs swallow their whistle in that situation but not every time. Should have never been in a position that one call could decide that game.

CUSA refs nothing more to be said than that but we shouldn't have been in that situation in the first place. My call from the nosebleed armchair would have been possibly to foul them after our miss to send them to the line but give us 22+ secs to play with instead of what happened at the buzzer.

I think it’s interesting which refs calls it. Not the one at midcourt but the one running toward the baseline.

...starting the game down by 8-10 pts early. A big chore to come back from and sustain when we have essentially a 7 man rotation.
...2 missed dunks by Scootie
...again numerous missed layups
...Technical foul by Sullivan that resulted in him going to the bench w/4th foul. Also, forced us to go small(4 guards) w/Mak already on bench w/foul trouble. When they returned the big man flash on the guard going around a screen was ineffective because the bigs couldn't crowd the shooter(& the MTSU guard Sims knew this). Hence, wide open 3s. Lost 13 pt lead when we went small as we were dominated inside.
...7 missed free throws(13-20) doesn't seem bad until you consider who missed them - guards(supposedly a teams best shooters). Bryant & Grayson(10-10), Sullivan 1-2, other guards(all seniors) 2-8.
...another game where the opposition's guards torch us

RE: The Shot and the Call(Twitter Video)
At most it was brush contact.

Call that way the entire game & everyone fouls out in 1st half.

4 seconds isn't enough time to have that type call when their player traveled over half the court in distance.

Had he been shooting & was knocked to the ground then that is another story.

It was brush off then the shot.

RE: The Shot and the Call(Twitter Video)
It shouldn't have been called a shooting foul - the "foul" was before the act of shooting. We had 7 fouls at that point. Not sure the foul count that triggers FTs, but I think a non-shooting foul at that point would have resulted in an inbounds play rather than FTs.

Pretty sure it was a 1 and 1 and not called a shooting foul.
