Kent State @ Ball State
Kent State is at historic Worthen Arena for a high noon showdown with Ball State. The Flashes should be well rested. I haven’t read anything about Peterson. Injured?

fallsdog, Peterson injured his ankle the last practice before their last game. That was the last I heard or read about it.

From Allen Moff @AllenMoff_RC:

Injury Update: Kent State junior guard Mitch Peterson, who missed last Friday’s game at Buffalo after suffering an ankle injury at the end of practice the day before the game, will play on Saturday at Ball State.

This lineup with the three small guards and Frederick and Whittington has been really good. I've only noticed them using it the last few games but I think they found something.

Miami is up 38-28 on emu with 7:16 left. Sounds like a Charlie Cole's score.

What the hell is Walker doing on that last play? Leaves his man wide open in the corner to double on the drive up three with under 10 to go.

Oh good. A timeout so he can draw up a dribble dribble dribble and settle for a bad shot play. Prove me wrong...

That was the worst possible final possession a team could ever have, and yet it some how resulted in a game-winning basket.

Wow, that was exciting. It just wouldn't be a MAC game though without clock malfunctions and bad calls down the stretch. Heck of a play by Williams. BSU has a valid complaint though. He established his pivot foot then jumped off his other foot, so it should've been a travel.

Of course, had they called the obvious travel on the 3 that sent it to OT, all the collective ineptitude in overtime wouldn’t have mattered.

Which is huge because it gives you, at the very least, a secondary post presence.

Absolutely HUGE to come back and win that game after almost coughing it up.

Sets up a critical week for the Flashes. Win ‘em both and you can probably book ‘em into a first round bye.

I was out of town on vacation and did not see the game. However I saw the final play on Bleacher Report and it was an unbelievable play. A cat having nine lives came to mind. You need a few of those to have a really good record. Hopefully there are 7 or 8 lives left.

I've only seen something like that in pick-up games.
