If the Hawks could play a lick of defense they would be a pretty good team

It's great to see our offense clicking. Still concerned we've given up 44 in a half again. If our offense falters in the second half, we're playing with fire.

Agree. And whyyyyy did Fornes commit that intentional foul?

Yep. Game should be a 15pt lead at half. We are clearly the better overall team. JMU is just not a good team.

It’s up there for sure. They just had 7 possessions in a row with made FGs.

Just hope they keep the momentum after the half. This is surely an exciting game.

Just a lazy foul when having one foul to give with JMU pushing the ball, but I will give him a break on that. He has played great the past two games. McGrath better not bench him for that intentional foul. He needs to play more.

JMU - Homecoming (Saturday, Feb 2, 7 PM)
Things I’d like to see more of:

1. Fornes and Cylla on offense.
2. Toews assist.
3. Seahawks winning the hustle plays

Things I’d like to see less of:

1. Man 2 Man defense.
2. Mosley shooting open threes.
3. SN08’s ugly mug on the Jumbotron.

He benched him right away, but may have been to let him rest going into the half. He needs to be on the court. His offense the last couple games has been fantastic and he’s hustling on defense for the most part.

Great to see Fornes stepping up and making a difference. But I've noticed we are definitely a better team when Cylla doesn't disappear when on the floor.

Gave up 44 points in half one to this trash team and let them shoot 60%

Not that it matters to us, but Hofstra finally lost.

Watching the VCU/GMU game. Were we really at that level? A10 is light years ahead of CAA.

Box and 1 defense to start the half. Gadsden on Mosley.

High screen by Cacok and a easy layup for Toews.

The sad thing is that we were SO down when the last big conference realignment occurred. When the A-10 needed/wanted teams we were in the Rosemary DePaolo/Kelly Merthens/Benny Moss era.

Sigh....

We are getting shredded on dribble drives. Good thing our offense is on point.

I’ll be brutally honest here. Our administrations have been so schizo on maintaining a solid program over the last two decades that it’s probably a good thing we didn’t make that jump.
