Predictions have AAC 4 bid league, PAC 12 1 bid
I’ve been looking at espn’s and cbs sports brackets and they show:
All “power” conferences as multiple bid leagues except the PAC. Every other conference looks like 1 except MWC:

AAC: (4) Houston, Cincinnati, UCF, Temple
MWC: (2) Nevada, Utah St
PAC: (1) Washington

The A-10 is really only a 1 bid conference? That’s crazy

One would think it's almost a lock we get those 4 bids.

Highly doubt one of our teams sees a 2nd weekend though unfortunately. Maybe Houston but after watching ucf vs uc last night, teams like that generally struggle in the ncaat

I think UCF needs to win at least 3 of their final 5 regular season games to stay on the right side of the bubble.

Exactly. Same for UC. Temple probably needs at least four more.

And they can't 0-fer in the conference tourney.

ESPN bubble watch . Moves UC to a lock . Let's get UCF and Temple in and lets do this thing.

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketb...m-2019#AAC

American
Locks: Houston, Cincinnati
Work to do: UCF, Temple

UCF Knights
UCF presents us with what might be the bubble's cleanest and most compelling "win and you're in scenario." Here are the givens: The Knights are, presumably, just barely in the field as a No. 11 or possibly even a No. 12 seed, despite the fact that Johnny Dawkins' team is still searching for its first Quad 1 win of the season. Now, however, UCF is about to close the season with nothing but Quad 1 opportunities. The Knights finish up with games at South Florida (barely Quad 1), at Houston, at home against Cincinnati and at Temple. Dawkins and his team will have the chance to make their case to the committee in persuasive on-floor terms. (Updated: Feb. 24)

Temple Owls
Temple entered its home game against Tulsa listed by Lunardi as one of the last four teams in the field, and the Owls emerged with an 84-73 win. Being the team that gave Houston its only loss of the season will continue to pay big dividends for Fran Dunphy's men, who can further enhance their prospects with a win against Memphis in their next game. Playing the Tigers on the road constitutes Temple's last Quad 1 opportunity of the regular season. (Updated: Feb. 23)

I heard an advertising on XM radio that said "We cover basketball in all the Power 5 conferences." Which ones are those?

The A10 does not deserve more than one bid.

It all depends on the matchups, getting hot at the right time, and catching just a little bit of luck. Conference should've had 2 teams in the 2nd weekend and at least one in the final four last year. Not ridiculous to think we might have a team or two make a run this year.

Washington lost to 6-22 Cal last night. Arizona State loses by 28 to Oregon. Let's just give the Pac 12s bid to someone else

This is, unfortunately, the resaon that we can guarantee the PAC is getting two bids this year. There is nearly a 100% chance a bid gets stolen by the conference this year.

Even Washington is no longer a lock.

They seem safe around 30 in the Net rankings. If they go on a losing streak though.

The issue is that them not winning the tournament means a loss to a tier two squad at best on a neutral floor. That will hurt, should they get blown out or upset early say by Washington state (rival) or cal (just beat them) they will tumble and because of a weak schedule in the pac they will find it difficult to put up a strong tier 1 record.

That's not counting another regular season loss or the whole pac tournament turning into upset city and every teams rankings tanking.

UCF is in a similar tightrope situation. They benefit from a much stronger league though, meaning close losses won't kill them and avoiding bad losses is easier, in fact should they secure a 3-5 seed they only really have to avoid a blow out loss in the conference tourney to have a good chance at an at-large.

The list of multiple bid conferences according to CBS and ESPN
ACC
Big 10
Big 12
SEC
AAC: 4
Big East:
MWC: 2

Maybe 2 bids
SoCon
PAC

Washington lost to Oregon and it could be a 1 bid conference, which is crazy...

It says that the committee wants Washington to lose in the conference tournament so the Pac-12 can avoid the embarrassment of a 1 bid conference. My algorithm actually gets in the heads of the committee. It is that good.

Arizona State has picked it up lately. Won 5 of last 6.

Not 100% guaranteed, but looks like they’re in

Washington lost again. They don’t have a tournament resume.
