I think we have to go 3-2 in the last 5 games to make the top pod. 5 losses with a couple head to head wins should get us in I'd think, but who knows

Heck, he & Bryant are about the only consistent players we have right now.
So far he's right at a 20% shooter from 3 for his career. I guess it's ok when we play our OOC of cupcakes but in close games those are crucial wasted possessions. He was 0-3 at MT and we lost by 6. Is it on Gueye for missing 3's? Of course not, it's just poor shot selection and not good basketball. He's certainly not the only player that takes ill-advised shots on this team. We do not have an offensively gifted squad. Shot selection and defense are the difference for us between winning and losing in what looks like a very balanced (mediocre) league.
Not sure of every attempt from the other night, seems like a couple were jacked up when not totally necessary, but we spent way too much time trying to get past their trap.
If you hit some free throws like you should or make some close to the basket layups like you should then a couple of jacked up 3's wouldn't be as costly.
Bottom line is that we only had a couple of players that had a decent game the other night. Need 4 to 5 total to have a chance to win.
Yup. Jalen Perry was 7-29 on the road trip and Bell was feast or famine: 2, 17, and 2 points on the three game swing. Need a little more consistency from two of our more experienced players.
I want Bell to not be as tentative to shoot! When he lets his shots fly he makes a good majority but some games he seems to disappear in the shuffle.

He does.
From a recruiting standpoint I expected him to be the second leading scorer since he averaged double digits last year.

Agreed. The good thing is we have two home games against weak teams. The other three games will all be tough though.

Of course, we do seem to play to the level of the competition so every game is tough...
