WBB Game Thursday Postponed to Feb. 18
(posted on NIU website Wednesday)----
DeKalb, Ill. –The Northern Illinois University women's basketball game scheduled for Thursday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the NIU Convocation Center versus Western Michigan has been postponed, NIU officials announced Wednesday. The two teams will now meet in the NIU Convocation Center on Monday, February 18 at 6 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday night of this week and was pushed back to Thursday due to the university closure for weather. The latest postponement is due primarily to travel and scheduling issues for the Broncos.

The Huskie women's basketball team returns to action this Saturday, February 2 at 1:30 p.m. (CT) when they play at Eastern Michigan, and return home to take on Bowling Green on Wednesday, February 6 at 6 p.m.

Tickets purchased for this week's WMU game will be honored on February 18, and season ticket members should use the tickets marked January 30 on that date.
