I would assume it has more to do with people thinking how these things can affect them. It’s probably hard for people in the westernized world to identify with small African villages. People are more likely to feel impacted when it happens in another westernized city. I mean, even attacks in large African cities are covered. It just seems to be these small villages that receive less coverage.

“The Fulani were able to carry out their deadly attack. They stayed for hours in the vicinity, moving at will, unchallenged.”

Plenty of stuff on liveleak, websites, photos. Dead bodies, burnt bodies, limbs chopped off all over the place. American and Euro media just doesn't care.

Yeah, but Buhari is a pretty moderate Muslim. He was elected in a majority Christian country because the Christian leaders have been so corrupt.

But both the Christian and Muslim leaders will downplay the atrocities because they're trying to keep the country together. And stay rich.
