Large increase in GT season ticket sales
Quote:Season-ticket sales were 81 percent higher than last year’s first day of sales. Further, 20 percent of the sales were from purchasers who had not held season tickets in the 2018 season. In one day, the number of new season-ticket purchases was 37 percent of all new season-ticket sales for all of 2018. According to Mike Castle, Tech’s assistant athletic director for ticket sales sand operations, phones in the ticket office were “ringing nonstop” all day Monday.

RE: Large increase in GT season ticket sales
Perhaps with the large increases in season tickets at GT and SU that the ACC can once again join the other P5 conferences with a conference wide average attendance over 50,000. The ACC was real close to averaging 50,000 this past season.

Best guess...Cuse increases their average to about 41-42K. Not great but besides Clemson the schedule kinda sucks this year (Clemson, Pitt, BC, Wake Forest, WMU and Holy Cross). BC, Pitt and Wake do not travel that well and all look to be around 4-6 wins. Clemson should have 49-50K and Pitt should be in mid 40's.

RE: Large increase in GT season ticket sales
THU AUG 29 AT Clemson
SAT SEP 7 VS. USF --> 45,000-55,000 depending on Clemson game ... if GT plays Clemson well or wins somehow that will be a blood in the water revenge game sellout
SAT SEP 14 VS. The Citadel --> 42,500+ depending on record
SAT SEP 28 AT Temple
SAT OCT 5 VS. North Carolina --> 45,000+ depending on record
SAT OCT 12 AT Duke
SAT OCT 19 AT Miami (Fla.)
SAT NOV 2 VS. Pitt --> 40,000+ depending on record
SAT NOV 9 AT Virginia
SAT NOV 16 VS. Virginia Tech --> 50,000+ depending on record
THU NOV 21 VS. NC State --> 45,000+ depending on record
SAT NOV 30 VS. Georgia --> 55,000
Barring implosion, they should be up to at least 47,500 or so next year. That's up almost 5,000 versus 2018. If things go well perhaps much higher still.
