Was in Bowling Green and met the team—my experience
Have to add this:
I was in Bowling Green last week for work and at the Buffalo Wild Wings by the basketball arena several players came in promoting the big game coming up that night. The guys I met were the about nicest guys I’ve ever met. One was considered the best player on the team, the other a big man and the 3rd a guard who comes off the bench.
Great ambassadors for the team and school. I was very impressed by them and will root for Bowling Green to win the MAC!

It was a great visit...players were great. I saw the FB stadium, BB arena and met the star BB players at BWW. It was a neat experience.
Go BG!

Always liked how BG is right off the highway with FB/BB/Hockey venues all in the same area and town stores have visible BG decorum. BG gives off a fun college town vibe.

Can't speak for other BG alums, but I certainly had my share of fun. 04-cheers04-drinky

It's good for the MAC I suppose.
I'm friends with a kid who was granted his 6th year at BG this season. He played his other 5 years at Findlay. Great HS player. Even better guy. Lots of local kids on that roster.

All discussions with that school in Wood County must include this running tally
3353/684/1459/660
They don't beat their rival often.

Glad they are nice. As long as it helps with numbers above.

Ooof! This loss hurts. But I’ll give BG a ton of credit for a great 2nd half. The full house and the BG arena looked awesome on Tv....really big time.
The MAC is a real hornets nest especially the road games. The Bulls have some work to do to maintain their at-large chances. Can’t let it slip away

Stroh Center was rocking tonight. Great showcase game for the MAC tonight. Just another advantage of the ESPN contract. 'They have sold a lot of basketball and football games to CBSSN giving us some really good exposure.

Absolutely. Friday night MAC hoops is a good thing. It's not mid-week and the temperatures inside the venues are around 70 (not 30, without a wind chill).

Indeed one of the big pluses of the ESPN contract is that they apparently can 'sell off' games to CBSSN and that gets us the desirable Friday night exposure.

This is a good look at the shocking amount of progress Bowling Green has made since last season.

Dick, Yes, the contract while being absolutely horrendous for FB (mid week FB games) is great for an emerging Mac attack in hoops. I’m happy for the BG and the MAC, Dick. Take care Dick.
