RE: New WR Coach
I'll have to do more reading, but he has a MAC background and Florida recruiting experience. That's what we wanted to fill Haygood's absence.

RE: New WR Coach
Looks great. His twitter says 'Wayne County & South Florida recruiter.' Need to get more Wayne County talent at EMU instead of them running off to CMU or WMU.

South Florida always great. Still surprised we don't have anybody in Dallas Ft. Worth after the success of Maxx, Holford, and potentially Porter.

Who wouldn't want to be coached by this guy..........

RE: New WR Coach
Dude. Our former OC is almost doubling CC in salary as an OC at Indiana...

Per football scoop:
New offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer will make $800,000 per year on a 2-year deal

Gotta love that P5 TV $$$$$$$$$$. Congrats to coach DeBoer!

Oklahoma just gave Riley a raise to $6,000,000 plus a $700,000 bonus every year he stays another year, haha.

...........and to all the whiners and socialists.......yes, he's worth every penny to that program.

RE: New WR Coach
My thinking on the new coaching staff is that we get the WR, RB and a recruiting coordinator for the price of the two coaches that left. I think Patton and Meadows probably have the same salary or close.

Another EMU-related coaching update:

Former Safety Ryan Downard is now the assistant defensive backs coach for Green Bay. A former Eagle player rising through the NFL coaching ranks. Great news and congrats to him.

Athletic Development better be thinking of starting to butter that biscuit.

O/T to this specific post, but interesting story on the GB HC.

He is a native of Mt. Pleasant and has extensive playing and coaching experience in GLIAC and also a little in the MAC.
