ISIS down to a couple of villages

Now the last BBC map I saw showed a couple of central Syrian areas completely surrounded by the Syrian government in addition to this tract on the Euphrates. But this is all that is left of their Raqqa caliphate.

Below is a map showing where ISIS was a year ago. Those half dozen areas have been shrunken or eliminated.

So they have as many U.S. House members as they do villages now.

And there's no reason to get our interpreters killed by the handful of ISIS sympathizers scattered around.

Found a December map. Syria took back the Israeli border a few months back and apparently took out the two patches in east central Syria recently. Iraq and Kurds took out that long stretch along the Iraqi border. So there's just those villages along the Euphrates and possibly that small area on the map in central Syria.
