Thought the same thing, but he seems to be better coming off the bench. And he’s getting plenty of minutes as it is. If it ain’t broke...

And noticed Dominic Magee played for the first time in a while. Gonna need him down the stretch to have to keep the momentum going IMO.

Reminds me of that time Tyndall beat them by a similar score several years ago. Weird

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss opened the game on a 21-3 run on its way to dominating Marshall, 102-46, Wednesday night at Reed Green Coliseum.

Marshall grabbed the opening tip and immediately drained a three-pointer. But they would be stuck at three points as Southern Miss went on a 21-0 run over the next 7:03. After a Nigel Spikes dunk, the Golden Eagles scored 12 straight points to take a 33-5 lead just 10 minutes into the game.

After Elijah Pittman hit one of two-free throws, the Golden Eagles went on a 16-3 run to take its largest lead of the first half at 49-9 with 3:33 to play before the break.

Marshall finally hit double-digits on a D.D. Scarver three-pointer, followed by a layup from Dennis Tinnon. Southern Miss answered with baskets from Cedric Jenkins and Jonathan Mills. But the Thundering Herd closed the half with a three-pointer from DeAndre Kane, as Southern Miss led 53-17 at the break.

Southern Miss kept the pressure on in the second half, opening with a 24-9 run over the first eight minutes to take a 77-26 lead. Marshall cut the deficit to 40 with a 16-5 run, but Southern Miss closed the game on a 20-4 run.
