RE: Rice
Offensively, Rice is rated 2nd best in the conference in C-USA games. They are the 2nd best in 3-point shooting percentage at 38%.

Defensively, Rice is rated last in the conference in conference games only.

RE: Rice
Well, I have to mention at least one Rice big man - Jack Williams 6-8 220 Sr.. Williams had 13 points last night against MT and 20 against North Texas. He also puts up the 3 ball (19-57) at 33%.

Just crazy how the 3-ball has influenced the game. Everybody wants to be like Steph and Klay.

Agreed with the both of you. Also we are pretty well shutting down the paint so it leaves nothing for them to do other than shoot the 3.

Three of the last four games in Tudor Fieldhouse have gone to overtime, the one not going to overtime being a 1 point win by UAB. Of the three games that went to overtime, UAB won two. The loss was in double overtime and was UAB's only loss ever to Rice

Two seasons ago when UAB won at Rice 88-81 in OT, UAB was 30-33 (91%) from the charity stripe. Baxter was 7-7, Lee was 6-6, and Cokely was 4-4.

UTSA beats ODU 74-73 so ODU drops to 6-2

USM still up by 20 or so vs Marshall with 17 minutes left.

UAB winning on the road tonight would put us in a 2 or 3 way tie (if UNT beats MTSU) for 1st.

ODU led by 18 with 4:43 left in the game and lost. UAB fans saw what Wallace from UTSA can do from three. Now ODU knows. Never seen such a collapse

UTSA hit 6 of 7 from three and had 22 points in 3 minutes
