Looks like there will be much more than that!!

I saw some figures on first game attendance for some of the other teams.

You might be surprised to hear that one of the most successful teams had the smallest attendance at the first game - the Stallions.

The Cudas and the Bolts ended up drawing flies when it got down to it.

What was the UAB tribute for those in attendance?

So far this isnt.....terrible. Real world though, I'm always skeptical of these semi pro football leagues because they always seem to go belly up pretty quick. I do hope this league finds its niche though and is successful. I'll always cheer for any sports team that represents my hometown.

I'm enjoying watching it on tv. Fellow UAB fan who is there said it looked like a little under 40k in attendance. I think the real test will be what the attendance does the next few games. The last two leagues we have had, the attendance cratered after the first game.

Wow. Looked like more on TV. Not good.

Looked like 30-35 I don’t believe 17

Several people who were at the game are saying 17k is way low. Not used to under reporting attendance.

17K is waaaaaaaaaay off. 30K+ easily. Looks like they may have same counting issues as UAB...
