My hatred of Delaware goes back years before the start of the DAC Pack. My freshman year, I was in the Pep Band at the NAC Championship game held in the last game ever played on tartan floor at the ugly Delaware Field House. It was Drexel's first every appearance on ESPN and I had to endure a raucous crowd and a Delaware blowout.

The next year, the NAC Championship game was moved to the 1,600 seat PEAC and the last game on the wooden bleachers. Back then, tickets with no numbers were printed on construction paper, and some creative students found a way to duplicate the tickets precisely. As a result, each row of bleachers had 2 rows of students. There were probably over 3,000 people packed into 1,600 seats of bleachers. But the promise of revenge ended in a Brian Holder turnover, and Malik Rose calling a timeout that Drexel didn't have in the final seconds, and another Delaware championship in the PEAC court.

Drexel got some revenge the next 3 years with 3 straight NAC Championships. But some great revenge was had in February 1996, when Drexel came from 22 points down against Delaware at the BOB to stun a sold out crowd.
