Rice women crack top 10 in ESPN's mid-major rankings

I'm not sure if the ranking is justified yet, but we'll certainly know after this week's two road games (at Middle Tennessee State Thursday, who Rice edged out for the #10 spot, and then at #7 UAB Saturday).

The current top 10

6 Central Michigan
7 UAB
8 Ohio
9 Buffalo
10 Rice

Impressive! Let's hope this spring our baseball team can produce a season which our women's basketball team can be proud of.
