Jaylin Walker reminds me a bit of Dwight "Bo-Peet" Lamar who played his high school ball in Columbus in the late 1960's and was an All-American at the school formerly known as SW Louisiana.

RE: Kent State vs. University of Toledo
I was not in attendance last night. But while we are on the topic of instant MAC Center Classics here are two of my favorite;

February 18,2006 (Bracketbuster Saturday)
Kent State 80
Butler 76
OT
Jay Youngblood scored 25 points, but DeAndre Haynes made the plays and the shots when KSU needed them the most.

March 1999 (MAC Quarterfinal)
Kent State 79
Marshall 76
OT
I don't remember many of the specifics. But I do remember Texas product Rashaun Warren throwing down a big time dunk that brought the MAC Center to its feet. It may have been the exclamation point now that I think of it.

In 2003 we came back from near 20 down against both CMU and Miami in the jersey retirement game. Miami was up 32-13 to start the game.

And of course we were down 26-9 in the first eight minutes of the MAC Tourney opener against CMU two years ago.

I hope we see Walker get MAC Player of the Week this week!

Transitive Property Time. Vanderbilt is tied with #1 UT at end of regulation which clearly shows KSU would beat the number one team in the country by 2
