I'll miss Marc / Mike, but honestly, they deserve to play meaningful basketball and that might not happen for a while in Memphis.

It’s been great having those guys (and I think everyone is grateful for what they’ve accomplished in Memphis), but they aren’t on the trading block b/c we feel sorry for them. It’s time to rebuild. We’re losing with them; we can just as well lose without them. Time for some new talent that doesn’t break the bank.

Give me Rubio (expiring contract), Exum, 2019 first, and 2021 first

Add Favors from the Utah side and we throw in JMyke and that's quite a deal.

Some aren't as high on Favors, but I think he would fit well next to JJJ for a season.

I could go for that as well. I guess it depends on how much they value freeing up cap space. Though I think Favors only has one more year left on his deal so not bad.

Either of those deals I'll sign up for.

Favors has a weird deal. He can be cut with no buyout up until July 6th. Would make him a valuable trade chip for a team needing to clear cap space during free agency. Otherwise makes $16.9M next season.

Can see why Utah would move him. He's an old school 4 or even a 5, so doesn't really fit well with Gobert.

I think Conley is gone for a first round pick and players..Likely to Detroit for #9

Gasol may garner a 2019 first but likely much lower and we are likely going to end up eating another bad contract or two.

Either way we could end up with a second top 10 pick this season and a 3rd first rounder.

Three first round picks (two of them being top 10) sounds pretty sweet. I would hate to see Mike go, but (like you stated) he has the higher trade value of the 2.

If that is true, you have to do that deal.

Not sure where that info is coming from. I’m not saying it isn’t true, but the Utah site (and one other) had no mention of picks. Basically it sounded like the Jazz wanted to send us Rubio and some expiring contracts to make the money work. If 2 first rounders were offered (in addition to Rubio, etc), I’m guessing the deal would already be done; however, it also depends on how high those picks are.

There was one first round pick that was or would be involved (Utah's 1st this year). The problem with that is Grizz don't like where that pick is in the draft and I can't blame them.

If that is the case I'm sure the Grizz would counter saying we want another 1st to go along with Utah's first round pick this year.

It's rumored that the Grizz are asking for the 2nd Utah 1st rounder, and playing Utah against the Pistons' interest in Mike. But asking for a second Utah 1st, and Utah being willing to give it are two very different things.

Utah is very willing to give this year's 1st rounder, because they know the mid to late part of the 1st round this year is very weak.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the trade deadline rolls around and Conley and Gasol were still playing for the Grizzlies.

Word is Utah offered their 2019 first but Detroit's offer is better. We shall see.
